What a busy few days it has been! On Friday I had the pleasure of recording a little blurb for KEYT morning news out of Santa Barbara. I had so much fun! Granted I got up at 3:30 in the morning and my bleary and puffy eyed little self had to be in Santa Barbara by 5:30 but who cares! It was a blast. Today I had the pleasure of going to a local farm with Buggies class on a field trip. Yes, I spent my day with tractor rides, pumpkin picking, tons of kids, corn mazes and working on my swassiness. Swassy: an adjective to describe the sweat and heat in your um….nether regions. Swamp + Ass = Swassy. Learn it and live it people.

When we go camping, I’d like to be able to say I tone down my cooking and it’s all hamburgers and hot dogs but I just can’t do it. Food just tastes better when you’re camping. Maybe it’s the layer of dirt on your plate or the good company or the great outdoors. Whatever it is, it inspires me.

I’ve been busy all day playing hide and seek with the girls and enjoying my little spidergirl. One of my best girlfriends lives in Chicago and works for McDonald’s corporate. When she heard how much my little Buggies loves Spiderman, she sent a HUGE box stuffed with all things Spidey. I mean really; coloring, t-shirts, nail polish, a slip and slide, backpack, sunglasses, the list goes on. Which put Buggies into Spidey-Heaven. She immediately changed out of her adorable tutu dress and into some brown pants and her spidey shirt. And then grabbed her sunglasses and backpack and told me she was off to gymnastics camp.

Bachelorette Party Number Three Is Over.
There. I’ve said it! Yes, the bachelorettes are all behind me until July of next year. This trip was a nice change of pace from Vegas. At 8:30 AM, I jumped on the train to be greeted by eight girls screaming and handing me a glass of champagne and covering me in hot pink beads. Five hours and six bottles of champagne later, we arrived in San Diego. We stayed at the Andaz Hotel in the Gaslamp district which was perfectly situated in close proximity to a host of amazing restaurants and great bars. And of course, the hotel itself wasn’t too shabby. I dare you too Google the Star Suite at the Andaz Hotel. (Why yes, that is a stripper pole in the middle of the room. What’s it to you?)

We landed back in Los Angeles with exactly one day to unpack, do laundry, grocery shop, and get some rest before the East Coast Gesell Invasion of 2012 was set to commence. That’s right…wedding #2 was getting underway! Let me not forget to mention that we were also getting our puppy two days after getting home from Mexico.
